Okay, here is a photo, finally! This weekend we got the sink and garbage disposal installed. Yay!

Woodworking class

For Christmas I "gave" Travis a class at the PG adult school - woodworking! So over the last few months, in between studying for exams (only one more to go, now, July 15th) and everything else, he's been going to the Pacific Grove high school and using all of their equipment. It's been nice to have all the dust and such happening THERE instead of in the living room. Or so I call it. It's still pretty much a workshop, I have no illusions about that. Last night he finished the butcher block countertop for our kitchen - it's beautiful! When I get more photos, I will post them. The only other thing we've done this spring is put in a slate floor in the guest bathroom, which came out very nicely. I guess I need to get my photos together!

Still studying...

No new photos to post, since Travis is still studying for his CPA exams, and we're keeping busy with other things. Little things we've done: moved the desk/office into the second bedroom, and gave and or loaned all our extra furniture that we were clambering over to our friend Jeff. Thanks Jeff! Hope it's serving you better than it was for us! Oh, we also have track lighting in the two bedrooms now, too, which is super.
